Thanks to all the people who attended the semester's first meeting! We would like to welcome the class of 2012 and other new faces present for pizza and, of course, great ACM fun!
Tonight's spontaneous fun and sharing consisted of...

  • Zamzar (beta) - Having issues with file compatibility? Worry no more and convert to different file types with this free service.
  • Safari Books Online - A free e-book resource (for students on TSU's campus or via proxy/vpn)--"the reference library for programmers and IT professionals".
Events to look forward to:
  • Guest speaker John McLaughlin from Cerner Corp. on October 21st
  • FSCK's InstallFest: Get a fresh taste of linux on your machine! Come to Violette 1200 on Sunday, September 14th at noon. They will be there until 4:30, but the earlier you get there, the more time they have to set up and show you the ropes of free software.
  • Hopefully another Unconference hosted by FSCK!
It's never a bad time to see what's happening in ACM, so join us for our next meeting on Tuesday, September 23rd at 7:30pm in Violette Hall 1200.
